Mr.B Plays, EarthBound

UbseyMovies presents a series of video game play-throughs starring Mr. B, and later guest starring Elliot Kane! These videos will be different from UbseyLIVE! They will be uploaded to YouTube much sooner – and will most likely be in their entirety, though presented in 10 minute chunks.

You won’t be able to find the videos on UbseyMovies or UbseyGang, but instead on it’s own designated channel – MrBPlays

The show will be filmed live on ustream, so of course we encourage all of you to call in on skype to chat with us. Username = UbseyLIVE. Please feel free to request and/or mail us games for Mr. B and Elliot Kane to play! Available consoles include NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube, Wii, Original Xbox, and PS2. Emulators = cheating

FAN ART CONTEST 2011 – January to July 31st

Hey kids! Get ready! Because from January to July 31st, we’re putting out a call for UbseyMovies fan art, movies, music, photos, drawings, paintings, sculptures, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING!

EDIT: NEW DEADLINE IS DEC 31st 2011!

ubsfanart_RULE4 copy Now you may be asking, where are all the fabulous prizes? Well, there’s two different kinds! EB Saga winner gets EB Saga 1 – 4 AND chapter fiiive DVD’s. UbseyMovies winner gets Summer Dance/Robert & Robbie DVD – A one of kind UbseyMovies rarity sure to be enjoyed by the top artist! These are some pretty killer prizes, so please do enter! The whole point is to show your love for the Ubs.

Only Rule: it must be UbseyMovies themed within some capacity. Be it a parody of an UbseyMovie, painting a portrait of Elliot Kane, or writing a song about how infrequently we release EB Saga chapters, anything you want as long as it is relevant to UbseyMovies. If for whatever reason it isn’t relevant enough, we will gladly still accept the entry, but it won’t be eligible for the fabulous prize. Sorry kids! Now go make art!

Elliot Kane – Wins BEST PICTURE @ SJSU (CMF 2010)

This is quite possibly our final entry for Campus Movie Fest 2010.

We wanted to do a mystery/film noir with Elliot Kane. This is what came out. Enjoy!

Big thanks to everyone involved! Special thanks to Steve Campos from Fangamer for doing the special effects.

We managed to win Best Picture at SJSU, which entitled us to an ipod, final cut studio 3, and admission to the international grand finale in spring 2011. So CMF is going very well for us this year! Thanks y’all!

Green Belt Warrior Progress

Currently, UbseyMovies is hard at work on the new short by Jon Magram, Green Belt Warrior.

Robbie is currently editing it, fine-tuning pacing and details, and we’re hoping to have a rough cut finished by the weekend. The final film should be released by mid-August.
